I'm going to give some context to sketch out the story, and then talk about the real whys of building your own database technology. Man Group is a large alternative asset manager. When it comes to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, one of the key challenges is deciding how to select and use tools effectively…many people ask me whether or not they should think about using retrieval to choose which tools to put into the prompt. What this actually means is that we're interested in making precision and recall trade-offs

OpenAI’s next big project “Orion” 🔮
A new report from The Information reveals that OpenAI is developing two advanced AI models:
"Strawberry," which can solve complex unseen math problems, tackle challenging word puzzles, and even perform tasks that require strategic thinking.
and "Orion," set to be OpenAI's next flagship language model, which aims to surpass GPT-4's capabilities.
OpenAI reportedly preparing to launch new ‘Strawberry’ AI model, a new model set to surpass current capabilities and revolutionize AI applications. The model reportedly scores over 90% on the MATH benchmark, outperforming current models like GPT-4 and GPT-4o. Previously known as Q*, this model was central to a tumultuous period at OpenAI, linked to concerns over AI's future risks.
Cerebras Systems launched Cerebras Inference, offering AI inference speeds faster than ever at a much lower cost.
